Educated at St Dominic’s High School and a BMus graduate from Queen’s University Belfast. Her teaching career began as a specialist music teacher at MercyPrimary School, followed by employment at the City of Belfast School of Music as professional Classroom Support teacher to schools in BELB area and also as a long standing tutor at the Junior Music Centre. Since 2005 Helen has been the music specialist teacher at the Preparatory Department of Methodist College. In 2000 Helen was approached by Bishop Patrick Walsh to be part of a team to set up a Down and Connor Boys’ Choir which has since developed into the St Peter’s Cathedral Schola under Nigel McClintock, Director of Music at the Cathedral, and Helen Frame as the Assistant Director.
